The 5.11 Tactical Academy Short is a special purpose-built short designed to carry bulky items and remain durable. Only the finest components are used in construction - from the 100% Cotton Tactical Canvas to the Prym® snap and YKK® zipper. The short has double fabric in the seat and thirty-six bartacks (reinforcement stitching) at stress points for superior strength.

    These 5.11 Academy shorts are as functional as they are comfortable. The Academy Short features six pockets in all - two front slash pockets, two bellow thigh pockets, and two back pockets. These roomy compartments will store your gear with ease. Look for the original heavy-duty utility strap which is ideal for holding longer items such as a flashlight or baton in the deep pockets.
