THE SHIPPING LABEL IS PRINTED DIRECTLY FROM THE ADDRESS ENTERED BY THE CUSTOMER. IF THE ADDRESS IS INCOMPLETE OR NEEDS TO BE CHANGED BY UPS AND THERE IS A FEE CHARGED BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY FOR THE CORRECTION, WE WILL CHARGE YOU, THE CUSTOMER FOR THIS CHANGE. IF A REFUND IS REQUESTED, WE WILL REFUND THE PRODUCT LESS THE SHIPPING CHARGES.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICIES:

WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SHIP THE DAY YOU ORDER, BUT THERE IS NO GUARANTEE.

*Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs. We use USPS Priority, USPS Express, UPS Ground, 3 Day UPS, 2 Day UPS, and UPS Next-Day Shipping. Ordered items will usually ship the same business day if the order is placed before noon Arizona time - Otherwise it will ship the following day. In some circumstances, shipment could be delayed for reasons beyond our control. If this happens, and the delay in shipping will be over 3 business days, DESERT GEAR will contact you and give you the option of canceling the order or continuing with it. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska may be charged an additional amount due to added shipping costs. You will be advised of these costs via e-mail. We do not guarantee shipment dates or delivery dates.  If a package is delayed due to issues/problems with a carrier service (UPS, USPS) we will not refund your shipping (you will need to address the issue with the shipping company). In some cases we may ship an item via a different method than what you picked if our method will get it to you faster (ie shipping via USPS instead of UPS). DESERT GEAR WILL NOT REFUND YOUR PAYMENT OR PROVIDE REPLACEMENT MERCHANDISE IF THE TRACKING INFO FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY SHOWS THAT THE ITEM WAS DELIVERED TO THE ADDRESS YOU ENTERED ON THE ORDER. YOU, THE CUSTOMER, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP YOUR PACKAGE AFTER DELIVERY. ITEMS SHIPPED TO APO/FPO ADDRESSES ARE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY AFTER DELIVERY. DESERT GEAR IS NOT REPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES AFTER DELIVERY.


CANADIAN SHIPPING:
We usually send packages UPS Standard to Canada, USPS International Priority, or USPS International Express. If you select a shipping method that is not available to Canada (like UPS Ground) we will add the shipping costs to your order before processing.  THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEALING WITH YOUR CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT AND EXTRA FEES CHARGED BY THE CARRIER. WE WILL NOT CONTACT THEM ON YOUR BEHALF. BEWARE OF THE TAXES THEY CHARGE FOR IMPORTS. WE SUGGEST CONTACTING THE CARRIER BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER TO OBTAIN FEES YOU WILL NEED TO PAY ON DELIVERY. IF THE PACKAGE IS REFUSED AND RETURNED TO US, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FEES OR SHIPPING WE HAVE PAID OR ADDITIONAL FEES BILLED BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Packages are sent via USPS International Priority, USPS International Express, or Worldwide UPS. If you select a shipping method that is not available to your Country and only see a $5.00 shipping charge (which is usually insurance), we will add the least expensive shipping charges to your order. If you do not see shipping charges added when you confirm your order, you have not selected an approved shipping method and we will add the shipping costs to the order before it is processed

CUSTOMS DUTIES, TAXES, LICENSES:

You are responsible for Import Licenses, Customs-assessed import duties, all local taxes, and in-country delivery fees (if any). We assume no responsibility for these additional charges and caution you that they may be much higher than you expect. We assume no risk for lost international packages. We will not issue a refund if your package is lost outside of the USA.

Packages seized by Customs for your failure to follow local import regulations are not refunded or credited.  YOU, the customer, are solely responsible for all compliance with your country's regulations. Packages that are left unclaimed and forfeited to Customs or the carrier are charged to your account in all cases. We will not issue credit for these occurrences.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
We ship to the majority of countries in the world, except areas where trading embargoes are established by Federal law. Customers are always advised to be absolutely certain of your import regulations and restrictions when ordering our products. Due to the characteristics and regulatory controls on some of our products, we cannot export controlled items. We CAN NOT SHIP or export under any circumstances Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods (pepper spray/stun guns etc). Orders for these items are canceled if received. You are fully responsible for complying with all of your local import regulations. We are required to observe and follow all
U.S. Export Regulations and Laws.

PAYMENTS FOR CANADIAN AND INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
We require your use of one of these accepted credit cards:

The handling bank automatically calculates exchange rates. If you wish to mail your order, we require payment in full. We do not accept PayPal payments for international orders.

FOREIGN CREDIT CARD ORDERS:

There is a $500 limit on first time purchases with proper documentation Your first international credit card order with us cannot exceed more than $500 U.S. dollars - orders over $500 must pay by other means (wire transfer, money orders, etc.). All orders must be accompanied with a valid phone number and e-mail address and will only be shipped to the billing address on file with the card issuing bank.

ON ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS YOU MUST MAIL OR EMAIL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO OUR OFFICES:
A current copy of the header (top portion only) of your credit card billing statement showing at least the statement date, the account number, the cardholder name, and the banks name, address and phone number. A front and back copy of the credit card used to place the order (ensure bank phone number is legible). A front and back copy of your international identification card or passport. Once the requested information is received please allow 1 to 2 weeks for us to confirm your identity with issuing bank. These measures have been implemented to protect both you, the customer and DESERT GEAR. Once you have been verified you will then be considered an "international account" and these steps will not have to be taken. Please note that we reserve the right to request a wire transfer or other forms of payment on any order at our discretion.

RETURN AND WARRANTY POLICY:

Any merchandise purchased from Desert-Gear is fully returnable, if it is still in the original packaging and in unused condition. We will not refund/exchange boots that are returned worn/soiled, etc. The package will be sent back at customer's expense. When returning boots, all tags, notices, etc. that were in the box must be included and the boots must be in new condition. All returns must clearly show our return authorization number (RA#) on the outside of the package. Returns will not be accepted without a RA#. If exchanging boots for a different size, you do not need an RA# as long as you include a copy of the invoice/packing slip that was in the original box. Include a note telling us the size you need to exchange for. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. All items that are returned for refund are subject to a restocking fee at the discretion of Desert-Gear.
All defective merchandise is subject to repair or exchange. Desert-Gear reserves the sole right to make the final determination as to repair or replacement. No refunds are applicable on repair or exchange items. All exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase. Customer is responsible for all freight charges (return freight and re-ship) on returned, defective, or exchanged merchandise
All merchandise sold by Desert-Gear is covered by various manufacturers' warranties. Merchandise sold becomes subject to the specific manufacturer's warranty and is not the responsibility of Desert-Gear. All warranty claims must be submitted directly to the manufacturer.


EXCHANGES AND FREE SHIPPING OFFERS:

Any exchange request will incur a new shipping charge. Free shipping offers only apply to the first purchase and not exchanges thereafter. Returns for items shipped under a free shipping special are subject to restocking fees and our cost of shipping on the original order. Customer is responsible for shipping costs back to Desert-Gear and the cost of re-shipping the exchanged item. Shipping charges will be added to items that do not qualify for free shipping, even if ordered together with a free shipping item. Free Shipping Orders to Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges at our discrestion depending on size and weight of the items. If you have questions about shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, please phone us before placing your order.

The knife you purchased is not designed or intended for use as a weapon. DESERT GEAR does not warrant that a person may legally purchase, possess, or carry any specific items offered, according to federal, state or local laws. By purchasing any item from DESERT GEAR whether by phone, mail, email, or in person, the buyer grants that he/she is in compliance with local and state laws and legally able to purchase these items. DESERT GEAR makes no guarantee either express or implied , as to any matter not expressly provided herein, including without limitation, the condition, quality, design, or fitness of the knife for use for any particular purpose. By acceptance of the knife, purchaser agrees that DESERT GEAR shall have no liability to purchaser or any person whatsoever for any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from handling, use, display, or storage of the knife.



DEFENSE SPRAY AND STUN GUN LEGALITIES::


We only ship defense sprays to the Continental 48 USA. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes.

The possession and or sale of defense sprays and stun guns are legal in the vast majority of states and cities across the United States. However, a few states and cities have chosen to enact laws restricting in some way the possession and or sale of these products. To the best of our knowledge, listed below is the most current information on cities and states with legal restrictions. Check your local laws to determine the legality of carrying Pepper Spray products or stun guns in your area.


Florida
Customers in FL cannot order any defense spray over 2.0 ozs.

Massachusetts
Desert Gear cannot ship Defense Spray products to consumers in Massachusetts. Products must be purchased from a shooting sports retailer. Stun guns are illegal.

New York
Desert Gear cannot ship products to consumers in New York. Defense Spray products must be purchased from a shooting sports retailer or pharmacy. Stun guns are illegal.

California
Desert Gear cannot ship Defense Spray products weighing more than 2.5 ozs. to consumers in California. Bear Attack Deterrent is legal for sale in California.

Michigan
Desert Gear can only ship Defense Spray product formulas in a 2% OC formulation. Stun guns are illegal.

New Jersey
Customers in NJ cannot order any defense spray over 0.75 ozs. Stun guns are illegal.

Wisconsin
Desert Gear can only ship Defense Spray products weighing less than or equal to 60 grams. Stun guns are illegal.

Hawaii
Stun guns are illegal.
Customers in Hawaii cannot order any 3-IN-1 Formula products.

Rhode Island
Stun guns are illegal.
